ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE ENGINEERS IN VARIOUS ENGINEERING SERVICES

                                 




 NOTIFICATION NO. 31/2011, Dt. 27/12/2011

         Recruitment applications are invited On-line through the proforma Application to be made available on WEBSITE (www.apspsc.gov.in) from  24/04/2012 to 23/05/2012 (Note: 21/05/2012 is the last date for payment of fee)  for recruitment to the post of  Assistant Executive Engineers in various Engineering Services. The desirous eligible Candidates may apply ON-LINE by satisfying themselves with the terms and conditions of this recruitment.


INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES:
1) The candidates must note that his/her admission to the examination is strictly provisional. The mere fact that an Admission has been issued to  him/her does not imply that his/her candidature has been finally cleared by the Commission or that the entries made by the candidate in his/her application have been accepted by the Commission as true and correct.    
Candidates are required to upload his / her photo with signature in the prescribed format of  Application form. Failure to produce the same photograph, if required, at the time of verification, may lead to disqualification.  Hence the candidates are advised not to change 
their appearance till the recruitment process is complete

2) The candidates should go through the instructions given on the cover page of test booklet and carefully write his/her Register Number, Centre etc., in the Answer Sheet, which will be provided to him/her in the examination hall.

3) Since the answer sheets are to be scanned (valued) with Optical Mark Scanner system, the candidates have to USE BALL POINT PEN (BLUE/BLACK)  ONLY FOR MARKING THE ANSWERS.  The candidates will be supplied OMR Sheet in duplicate.  The candidate is required to use Ball Point Pen (Blue or Black) for  filling the relevant blocks in the OMR Sheet including bubbling the answers.  After writing the examination the candidate  has to handover the original OMR sheet to the invigilator in the examination hall, if  any candidate 
takes away the original OMR Sheet his/her candidature will be rejected.However the candidate is permitted to take away the duplicate OMR Sheet.   The candidates should bring Ball Point Pen(Blue/Black) and smooth writing pad to fill up relevant columns on the Answer Sheet.  The candidate must ensure encoding the Subject, Register No., etc., on the O.M.R.  Answer sheet correctly, failing which the Answer sheet will be rejected and will not be 
valued. Use of whitener on OMR Sheet will lead to disqualification.

4) The candidates should satisfy the Invigilator of his identity with reference to the signature and photographs. 


5) The candidates should take their seats 20 minutes before the commencement of the examination and are not to be allowed after 10 minutes of the scheduled time.  They should not leave the examination hall till expiry of fulltime.   The candidates are allowed to use the calculators in the examination hall (not programmable calculators).  Loaning and interchanging of articles among the candidates is not permitted in the examination hall.  Cell phones and Pagers are not allowed in the examination hall. 


6) The candidates are expected to behave in orderly and disciplined manner while writing the  examination.  If any candidate takes away Answer Sheet, the candidature will be rejected  and in case of impersonation/ disorder/ rowdy behavior during Written Examination,  necessary F.I.R. for this incident will be lodged with concerned Police Station, apart from  disqualifying appointment in future.  Merit is the only criteria that decides the selections.  Candidates trying to use unfair  means shall be disqualified from the selection.  No correspondence whatsoever will be  entertained from the candidates.  The candidature and conditions specified here are subject 
to latest rules / orders come into force during the process of recruitment. 


7) The Commission would be analyzing the responses  of a candidate with other appeared candidates to detect patterns of similarity.  If it is suspected that the responses have been shared and the scores obtained are not genuine/ valid, the Commission reserves the right to cancel his/ her candidature and to invalidate the Answer Sheet. 


8) Wherever Written Examination is held only those  candidates who are totally blind and  candidate whose writing speed is affected by CEREBRAL PALSY, can use scribe at the Written Examination.  In all such cases where a scribe is used, the following rules will apply. 
(a)The scribe should be from an academic discipline other than that of the candidate and  the academic qualification of the scribe should be one grade lower than the stipulated  eligibility criteria.  
(b)The candidate as well as the scribe will have to give a suitable undertaking confirming the rules applicable.

9)   If the candidate noticed any discrepancy printed on Hall ticket as to community, date of birth etc., they may immediately bring to the notice of Commission’s officials/Chief Superintendent in the exam centre and necessary corrections be made in the Nominal Roll for being verified by the Commission’s Office.

SAIL Management Trainees (Technical) and Management Trainees (Administration)

country. SAIL, is in the process of modernizing and expanding its production units, raw material
resources and other facilities to maintain its dominant position in the Indian steel market. To
man front-line executive positions in its Plant/Units, SAIL invites applications for the posts of
Management Trainees (Technical) and Management Trainees (Administration) in E-1 grade
from young, energetic, result oriented and promising talent in the country.



ELIGIBILITY:
Upper Age : 30 years as on 1.5.2012, i.e., not born earlier than 1.5.1982

Qualification
For MT (Tech) : The SC/ST/PWD and Departmental Candidates having Engineering Degree in
the required disciplines with 55% marks (average of all semesters) shall be eligible to apply
For MT (Admn.) : The SC/ST/PWD and Departmental Candidates having Bachelor’s degree with
50% marks (average of all subjects) and MBA/PG Diploma in Management in the relevant
discipline with 50% shall be eligible to apply against HR and Marketing disciplines.
MEDICAL STANDARDS :
For MT (Tech)
Should be of sound physique, free from any physical defect. Medical standards stipulate
minimum requirements of Weight 45 kg; Height 155 cm; Myopia and Hypermetropia, if any, not
to exceed ± 4.00 in each eye and no squint or colour blindness, partial or full. Suitable
relaxation in height and weight will be given to female candidates.
For MT (Admn.)
Should be of sound physique, free from any physical defect. Medical standards stipulate
minimum requirements of Weight 45 kg; Height 155 cm; Myopia and Hypermetropia, if any, not
to exceed ± 6.00 in each eye. Suitable relaxation in height and weight will be given to female
candidates.

HOW TO APPLY:
Eligible and interested candidates would be required to apply online only through SAIL’s
website: www.sail.co.in. No other means/mode of application will be accepted.
Before registering their applications on the website the candidates should possess the
following:
a) Valid e-mail ID, which should remain valid for atleast one year.
b) Pay in Slip for Rs.500/- as examination fee for General and OBC Candidates. Rs.100/- as
processing fee for SC/ST/ PH/Departmental candidates. The Pay-in-Slip is to be downloaded
from the website after filling in the required details.
c) Candidates should have latest passport size photograph as well as photograph of signatures
in digital format (.jpg or jpeg file only, of less than 500 kb size) for uploading with the
application form.
d) Candidates applying for both MT (Tech.) and MT (Admn.) should register separately with
separate application and processing fee.
After applying online, candidate is required to download the system generated Registration
Slip with unique registration number and other essential details.
MODE OF PAYMENT OF APPLICATION/PROCESSING FEE
State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the registration fee (examination/processing
fee), in a specially opened account (No. 32286155304) at CAG Branch, New Delhi, on behalf of
SAIL. Candidate has to approach the nearby SBI branch with a printout of the “pay-in-slip”
which is available on the Application Registration Portal. The pay-in-slip printed from the Portal
only should be used for depositing the fee for proper crediting of amount in the allocated
account. On receipt of the money the concerned branch of SBI will issue a unique Journal
Number and a Branch Code of the branch collecting the money. This Journal Number and the
Branch Code are to be filled up by the candidate during online registration. In case a candidate
deposits the fee in a wrong account, or doesn’t finally submit the application form with
payment details, SAIL will not be responsible. There will not be any other mode of collection of
registration fee. Also, please note that an amount of Rs.20/- will be paid by the candidate as
Bank Charges to the collection branch of SBI in addition to the applicable registration/
processing fee. The SBI branches will accept the fee from 10.00 AM of the starting date to 5.00
PM of the closing date of submission of online application.
The candidates will be provided opportunity to verify their payment status after reconciliation
on SAIL website and edit the payment details in case of wrong submission of Journal No. or
Branch Code. No request for issue of Admit card after closure of edit option will be entertained
and candidature will stand rejected.
Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates are therefore
requested to verify their eligibility before paying the application/processing fee and to fill in the
payment details carefully.

Visakhapatnam Steel Plant Management Trainee (Technical)



Eligibility: BE/B.Tech(Computer Science Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Science/Technology, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production / Plant Engineering)

Age : Born not earlier than February 1, 1987.

Emoluments : Selected candidates will be offered a basic pay of Rs.20600/- p.m. in the scale of Rs. 20600-3%- 46500/-(E-1). On successful completion of training, they will be designated as Junior Managers in the same scale of pay.

Selection : The selection process will consist of Written Test followed by Group Discussion/ Interview.  Written Test will be held simultaneously at Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai.

Training & Probation : Candidates selected as Management Trainee (Technical) will be placed on training for one year. After successful completion of training, the candidates shall be placed under probation for one year.

Application Fee :

 SC/ST/PWD candidates : There will be no application fee for SC/ST/PWD candidates. 

General and OBC candidates ; Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) for General and OBC candidates. The Application Fee Payment Challan / Pay-in-Slip is to be downloaded from  after filling in the basic details. Application fee must be deposited in “RINL/VSP Recruitment Account No. 30589461220” at any of the Core Banking Branches of State Bank of India (SBI) in the prescribed preprinted Challan. 

                     No other form of payment is accepted. Candidates have to fill in their own handwriting Date of Deposit, SBI Branch Code No., SBI Branch name, Bank charges and Total amount paid and sign at the appropriate place on the Challan. Candidates have to pay bank commission @Rs. 25/- per Challan for depositing fee at other than SBI, Steel Plant Branch, Visakhapatnam (Code 6318). Please insist the fees collecting SBI branch to invariably enter your name and 6 digit registration number mentioned in the Challan in their online screen.

                   The candidate is required to enter in the appropriate cells on the online application form the details of SBI branch, Code Number, date of deposit and the Journal Number. Downloading of Registration slip cannot be done without deposit of examination/processing fee and obtaining Journal Number from the bank.
                      
                   Application Fee can be deposited up to April 23, 2012. Application fee once deposited into Company’s account will not be refunded under any circumstances, even if the candidate is unable to apply on-line due to his/her own problems or due to being ineligible at the time of applying or on-line application is not accepted or due to internet failure. Therefore, before depositing the fee amount, the candidates should ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria. 
             
                    The candidates should retain their copy of original counterfoil of the Challan (Candidate’s Copy) and Registration slip for future reference. Candidates should submit original counterfoil of the Challan (Candidate’s copy) along with their computer generated Registration Slip at the time of interview. To avoid last minute rush, candidates are advised to apply well in advance.
